After the Christmas mini-market last weekend, this week has been a bit less festive. We got our Christmas cards about a week or two ago and I had been busy collecting addresses from my friends and family, so they would get them in time for Christmas. I can’t post a picture of the card yet, since nobody has received them, but hopefully next week, I’ll be able to post a beautful image of the card for you to enjoy.
On Thursday evening, instead of teaching English, I met up with a friend of mine, who was in the Netherlands for a concert and to record a new album with her group Seldom Sene. On Wednesday they performed in the Concertgebouw for the free lunchtime concert, which I didn’t manage to get to, but it was really fun to meet up for a glass of wine and a chat.
Today, as we speak, Michiel’s dad is making shelves for us in the study. It has become a junk room, and to try and combat this we are getting storage boxes and having shelves so we’re a bit more organised and can actually use the room as at the moment it is cold, and very messy, and it will be great to be able to enjoy the house a bit more.
I have also been chatting to my cousin Kate about her blog. She does a lot of book reviews, so make sure you stop by to say hi. Hopefully at some point this year we will meet and chat more about google analytics and affiliate marketing, which is really exciting, at least for me!
That’s all from me this week – next week I have my work Christmas party, and hopefully I will have finished my Christmas shopping. See you on Tuesday for my travel tip.
