Saturday Sharing: Getting Back Into the Groove

This week has been one of adapting back to life post-vacation, being in the middle of Autum instead of 30 degress, and trying to sort out more of the things that need doing in the flat. The list is still as long as my arm, but we are slowly making some progress. Floor edging, lighting, and cleaning have been on my mind all week, and today was my opportunity!

The weekend after we got back from Thailand went by in a bit of a blur – we were very jet lagged and I kept falling asleep early, and then waking up early, which come Monday was not pleasant. I woke up at 5.30am and got up really slowly for work, but by the afternoon I was feeling sleepy, but I managed to stay up until 9.15pm (woop!)

Yesterday M and I were supposed to be going to a wedding reception in Zwolle, but I was quite ill,so we couldn’t make it. Today I felt so much better so I decided to be action woman, and was cleaning until about 2pm, when I decided enough was enough. The kitchen is sparkling though (which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.)

Today we finally got the edging for our flooring, which is one of the things that I have been thinking about all week, and we bought two light fixtures which will be installed tomorrow!

It’s been a bit of a ‘nothing’ week because of catching up with everything at work, but I’ll be back on Tuesday for another travel tip. Have a great week!
