Amsterdam through British eyes

Saturday sharing: Shiny New Things

Happy Saturday folks. Being a freelancer does have its perks (when the sun comes out when you’re not ridiculously busy). It hasn’t all been lounging around though – I’ve also been busy learning all about social media from CreativeLIVE, a company that offers some seriously great courses.

For those of you who aren’t subscribers of my newsletter, let me tell you about some of the exciting things that are coming up for the blog. Firstly the blog is going to go through a major change – it’s being redesigned and re-vamped, and will hopefully be going live some time in September. The second exciting thing to tell you is that I will be releasing an ebook – no date confirmed yet, but I’ll keep you in the loop.

So, with that exciting news out of the way, lets move on to :

What I love this week:

Spending a lot of time in Amsterdam’s beautiful parks

Rummaging around in antique stores on the Elandsgracht

Having my English students in fits of giggles after organising a game of pictionary and realising their drawing skills are not that great.

Getting all excited about my article about the Drag Queen Olympics being published in TNT magazine on Monday!

That’s it, see you next week for another saturday roundup. Have a great week!
